Ages: 6 months to four years

Music Center of the Northwest

All children are musical, and primary caregivers play a crucial role in nurturing their child's musical development. Classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. Activities are informal, non-performance musical experiences appropriate and easy for caregivers, regardless of musical ability. Best of all, it's fun!

Continuing the activities at home is easy with CD's, songbook, and parent education materials included with tuition. This research based program was created for the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ by Ken Guilmartin & Dr. Lili Levinowitz, national authorities on music development in young children.

Suzuki Flute Basics FREE Informational Session with Susan Cruz Flute Studio

Suzuki Flute Lessons!

Additional Offerings

Following the free session, we offer three introductory half-hour workshops. These consist of a comprehensive introduction to flute playing for beginning students and an overview of the Suzuki Method for the parent. You and your child will participate in games and activities that teach many of the skills needed to play the flute.

Each family takes home a FREE CD of Suzuki flute music!

Interlochen Center for the Arts

We are now accepting applications for Summer 2009 Interlochen Arts Camp programs! Programs are 1-6 weeks long and are offered to students in grades 3-12. Several summer music camp programs are available. Camp is located in Interlochen, MI.

New England Music Camp

NEMC is open to 195 students with a healthy range of musical abilities. We provide opportunities for significant growth for the advanced performer as well as for the less experienced. At NEMC, we rotate orchestra and band seatings weekly. Campers perform a wide variety of music and gain experience performing from various places within the section. Campers design individual programs according to their special needs and desires. Located in Sidney, Maine.

Luzerne Music Center

Now in its 29th year, Luzerne summer music camp is musically demanding. It challenges the very talented. Yet there is a place for the young person who still needs to discover the joy of music. Located in the Adirondacks, Lake Luzerne, New York.
